Skills Profiler :: Instructions

The Skills Profiler has a series of questions about skills that you may have acquired over time. Your job is to read each question carefully and decide to what degree you feel you possess that skill.

For each question, read the description and try to figure out, on a scale of 1 to 7 - with 1 being the lowest and 7 being the highest, the degree of the skill you have. Next to several values, you will see a description of a task that would require that degree of the skill.

Remember, you do not have to have performed the specific task in the example to have the skill - it is there to give you an idea of what that degree might entail.

  • To answer a question, select the radio button to the left of the desired value.
  • When you finish a question, click the next button.
  • To review a screen you have already completed, click on the back button.

At any point during the Profiler you can change your answer to a question. Simply navigate to the question where you want to change your answer. Then select your new answer.

THIS IS NOT A TEST. THERE ARE NO RIGHT OR WRONG ANSWERS. YOU CAN TAKE ALL THE TIME YOU NEED.

The only goal is for you to learn about your Skills so you can explore work that might be satisfying and rewarding to you.
